Job description
Position Overview and Benefits
This contract role is located in Singapore with a 1-year duration and potential renewal, accompanied by a completion bonus. The work schedule follows a five-day work week during regular office hours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle processing of customer purchase orders for finished products and Point of Sale Materials (POSM), ensuring alignment with market forecasts and inventory controls.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve supply chain and pricing challenges, confirm sales prices, and maintain order processing standards using SAP efficiently.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics partners to resolve delivery and logistics planning matters while ensuring proper issuance of Post Goods Issues and invoices according to established SOPs.
- Track delivery progress and update customers with expected delivery timelines.
- Verify that all shipments are completed successfully and that Proofs of Delivery are duly received and logged.
- Assist other markets during high-demand periods or as needed.
- Schedule and oversee timely order deliveries aimed at optimizing freight and transportation resources.
- Provide excellent customer service through pre-shipment notifications, accurate documentation, prompt handling of inquiries, and monitoring order fulfillment alignment with market needs.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders ensuring documentation and operational tasks are executed without delay.
- Maintain workflow continuity by monitoring procedures and coordinating closely with Accounts and other departments according to company guidelines.
Continuous Process Enhancement
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and supply chain best practices aligned with corporate policies.
- Conduct periodic workflow and documentation reviews to identify and implement improvements enhancing efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or customer service roles, ideally within complex, multicultural company settings.
- Background in Shared Service Centre operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, MS Office suite, and ERP platforms such as SD/MM/SAP is preferred.
- Understanding of local transportation laws and foreign trade regulations is necessary.
- Experience in sectors like Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Luxury Goods is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Traditional Chinese is mandatory for effective communication with Taiwan-based partners and stakeholders.
