Position Overview

We are looking for an attentive and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support the operations of our Distribution Center (DC) located in Laredo, TX. This role involves managing supply chain activities within a third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse, ensuring efficient coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Primary Duties

Oversee and synchronize the receipt and dispatch of shipments to facilitate seamless warehouse operations
Monitor daily DC processes, promptly resolving any issues to sustain workflow
Maintain effective communication channels across multiple sites, internal teams, and external partners
Work closely with transportation providers to guarantee shipments are moved timely and accurately
Coordinate special or expedited shipments to fulfill urgent business needs
Identify opportunities and propose enhancements to optimize supply chain effectiveness
Collect, track, and report key supply chain performance metrics
Create detailed reports by consolidating data from various Excel sources

Required Professional Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly in data consolidation, reporting, and analysis
Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics systems, especially within a 3PL warehouse context
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize activities in a dynamic environment
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Preferred Background

Hands-on experience in distribution center or warehouse operations
Prior collaboration with transportation and logistics providers
Knowledge of key performance indicators and continuous improvement practices

Additional Information

The position is based on site at our Laredo, Texas location and has a contract duration of 12 months.
