Job description
Summary
The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a hands-on support role within the operations team, helping keep inventory, logistics, production, and purchasing activities running smoothly. This position is responsible for maintaining reliable ERP information, arranging shipments and stock transfers, monitoring operational performance indicators, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across more than one facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep inventory records accurate and support clean, dependable ERP data.
- Arrange shipments, internal transfers, and freight reservations.
- Follow up on purchasing needs and communicate with vendors as required.
- Assist with production planning and related operational documentation.
- Track operational KPIs and help prepare reports.
- Participate in cycle counts and support inventory discrepancy investigations.
- Maintain organized operational files, procedures, and reference documents.
- Provide coordination and administrative support to operations leadership.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary study in supply chain, operations, business, or a similar area is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Comfort using Excel and ERP or other software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational setting.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, inventory, or administrative support.
