Job description
Role overview
This position sits within the Operations Group, specifically in Supply Chain Management at RF360 Singapore Pte., Ltd. The role focuses on coordinating order flow and supply planning using manufacturing and supply chain knowledge to review demand, supply availability, and customer-driven changes. You will track product schedules and scope, interpret demand statements and related reports, and help keep materials moving smoothly through the production cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with sales offices to support daily customer shipments.
- Make sure sales teams enter orders into the system on time.
- Coordinate with product management and sales on ramp-up plans for new filter releases and on depletion planning for end-of-life programs.
- Stay current on delivery timelines and any shifts in customer demand.
- Represent the factory’s position when rescheduling requests come from product management or sales, and negotiate rather than automatically agreeing.
- Partner with product management each month on sales forecasts and projections.
- Join customer visits with sales or product management to better understand customer expectations.
- Align with product management and sales so the right products are built into stock, while also controlling ageing inventory to reduce slow-moving and obsolete stock.
- Handle customer returns, credit notes, debit notes, and related issues so factory stock records remain clean.
- Ensure incoming orders match the bucket split assigned in SAP and help reduce gaps between factory capacity and demand when sales and product management requests exceed capacity.
- Build the soft and technical capabilities needed for the role by taking relevant courses and development opportunities.
- Proactively schedule review discussions with the reporting manager to keep career development aligned with shared goals.
- Set up succession-planning actions so the next level can eventually take over the current scope.
- Prepare monthly reports for internal reporting needs.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is required. The role also asks for a diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, plus about 5 years of experience in key account service or customer service related to fulfillment or logistics in the electronics industry.
Requirements
- Background aligned with customer service work, including resourcefulness and the ability to manage difficult or demanding customers.
- Comfortable working on your own with minimal supervision.
- Strong capability to analyze information and data.
- Firm, resilient personality with the ability to perform well in a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to develop both soft and hard skills through training and related courses.
