Role overview

This position is for a supply chain analyst focused on marketplace operations across major ecommerce and retail channels. The ideal candidate will be confident working with marketplace data, spotting operational patterns, and turning findings into practical improvements for inventory flow, fulfillment performance, and overall execution.

The role calls for someone who works independently, communicates clearly, and collaborates well with different teams to improve business outcomes through data-led decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of marketplace operations across Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, Macy’s, and Lowe’s, including onboarding, product availability, fulfillment quality, and compliance.
  • Track supply and demand by channel and SKU, resolve stockout and overstock risks early, and improve in-stock performance as well as inventory efficiency.
  • Handle retailer compliance requirements such as routing guides, ASNs, and chargebacks, while closing operational issues, SLA failures, and carrier exceptions from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with fulfillment and warehouse partners to support dependable order processing across all sales channels.
  • Create practical dashboards covering fill rate, OTIF, returns, and days of supply, and work with Finance, Merchandising, Logistics, and Tech to strengthen performance and reduce costs.
  • Maintain SOPs and workflow documentation, improve automation and data quality, and present insights in a clear, business-focused way to stakeholders.

Experience and background

The preferred background includes 4 to 6 years in supply chain, marketplace operations, or ecommerce, ideally within specialty retail or consumer goods. Direct Amazon experience is required, either in Seller Central, Vendor Central, or both. Experience with multichannel retail environments such as big-box stores, department stores, or marketplaces is also important.

Applicants should be able to document business processes, SOPs, or workflows in a structured way and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. The role is suited to a self-driven professional who can present findings confidently to cross-functional teams.

Additional information

This role is based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and is onsite. Relocation is not offered.
