Role overview
We are looking for a careful and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to support day-to-day planning and improvement across procurement, logistics, inventory, and broader operational workflows in New Zealand.
What you will do
- Review supply chain performance information and turn it into clear reports for management.
- Keep an eye on inventory movement and suggest ways to improve stock control practices.
- Contribute to demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain optimisation work.
- Measure and follow key indicators connected to procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Spot patterns, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to reduce costs across the supply chain.
- Work with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to strengthen operational outcomes.
- Help build and maintain supply chain models and analytical tools.
- Maintain accurate records in supply chain databases and reporting systems.
- Support process-improvement and operational-excellence initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations based on your analysis.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, Economics, or a similar discipline.
- Prior exposure to supply chain analysis, logistics, procurement, inventory management, or a closely related function is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms and supply chain software is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to juggle several priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Legal permission to work in New Zealand.
