This supervisor position is based at Outlet Collection at Niagara in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and is suited to someone who enjoys a high-energy retail setting, coaching others, and delivering standout customer experiences.

What you'll do

  • Provide personalized, genuine customer engagement that creates a strong shopping experience.
  • Help the team reach and exceed sales targets by tracking key metrics and also meeting your own goals.
  • Demonstrate effective selling techniques and keep the focus on the customer throughout interactions.
  • Coach associates so they improve engagement, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Oversee everyday store activity, including opening and closing tasks, floor coverage, and assigning work.
  • Support stockroom processes by organizing inventory, handling incoming shipments, and moving merchandise to the sales floor on time.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new hires, while giving ongoing feedback and guidance.
  • Maintain merchandising presentation standards and make sure product replenishment follows brand direction.
  • Protect inventory accuracy through proper receiving, shipping, and loss prevention practices.
  • Take part in local community events and initiatives that support brand connection.
  • Follow company rules, safety practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Help build an inclusive, positive workplace that encourages creativity, teamwork, and learning.

What you need

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-first environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though practical experience and proven results are especially valued.

  • Track record of helping store teams deliver results and achieve sales and profit objectives.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop diverse teams that perform well together.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence people at different levels.
  • Comfort working in a changing retail environment and adapting quickly when priorities shift.
  • Capable of working independently while balancing business expectations and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software systems.
  • Physical ability to stand and move for long periods and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation and benefits

The hiring range for this role is CAD 16.80 to CAD 25.20 annually. The position may also qualify for additional compensation such as an annual incentive, sales incentive, or commission, with exact eligibility shared during the hiring process.
