About the Role

Transguard Workforce Solutions, a leading HR solutions provider in the UAE, is recruiting a Supervisor for Motor Claims Settlements & Operations based in Abu Dhabi. This position involves managing the entire motor claims settlement workflow and overseeing daily operational activities to ensure claims are processed timely, accurately, and in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee prompt and precise settlement of motor claims adhering to policy terms and internal authority limits, including handling complex and high-value claims.
  • Maintain oversight of claim reserves, confirming appropriate evaluations of medical, workshop, ambulance, and associated expenses.
  • Manage daily claims settlement tasks ensuring compliance with service standards, turnaround targets, and internal controls.
  • Monitor team output, assign workloads efficiently, and maintain strong customer service quality.
  • Identify and address outstanding or aged claims to enhance throughput and decrease backlog.
  • Authenticate claim documentation, validate coverage eligibility and settlement accuracy.
  • Ensure full compliance with policies, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Handle repudiated or invalid claim cases with thorough documentation and clear communication to customers.
  • Plan and organize workflow ensuring efficient processing and optimal resource use.
  • Supervise settlement payments and collaborate with legal and other internal teams on claims matters, including litigation.
  • Lead and mentor claims team members to meet operational targets and maintain high service quality.
  • Provide technical expertise regarding claim evaluations, settlement decisions, and policy interpretations.
  • Monitor work quality and participate in initiatives for process enhancements.
  • Manage cost controls by accurately assessing liability, validating coverage, and controlling repair expenses.
  • Support cost negotiations with workshops and service providers to obtain effective financial results.
  • Prepare and present operational performance and governance compliance reports; escalate risks and operational challenges as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Between 4 to 6 years of experience specializing in Motor Claims, Claims Settlement, or Insurance Operations.
  • Preferably previous supervisory experience managing claims teams.
  • Fluent professional level proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.

Certifications

  • Certificate in Insurance (CII)
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
  • Diploma/Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (Dip CII / ACII)
  • Associate in Insurance Services (AIS)
