Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor (m/w/d) to join a hotel team based in Berlin. The role involves overseeing cleaning operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading the housekeeping staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance and room inspections to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Manage orders and supplies, including inventory checks of cleaning equipment.
- Guide, train, and support housekeeping employees during their tasks.
- Coordinate and monitor all cleaning workflows within the area of responsibility while ensuring compliance with rigorous standards.
- Conduct team briefings and ongoing staff training sessions.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably possess previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.
- Proficient in computer applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
- Possess assertiveness and good communication skills.
- Good command of German or English; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with negotiation capabilities.
