Supervising Engineer

Position Overview

As a Supervising Engineer at FourArchitects Engineering Consulting Company, you will be responsible for managing daily engineering and construction activities at the project site. Your role ensures that all work is performed according to design plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements, while enforcing strict adherence to quality and safety standards. You will collaborate with project stakeholders, oversee contractors, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the construction process.

Key Duties

• Direct and supervise day-to-day engineering and construction operations at the site.
• Adhere to all approved drawings, project specifications, and safety protocols in project execution.
• Evaluate and monitor contractor performance, ensuring it aligns with quality and safety standards.
• Facilitate collaboration between project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant parties.
• Approve inspections, work progress, and the submission of technical documentation.
• Identify technical challenges and develop effective solutions or recommend corrective steps.
• Track project timelines, identify potential delays or risks, and report on overall progress.
• Conduct site inspections and implement quality and safety audits for compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and maintain detailed project records.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to technical staff as needed.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting processes, and allocation of project resources.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.
• Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in engineering and site supervision roles.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, engineering concepts, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and, ideally, project management platforms such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
