About the Program
The Young Adult Assertive Community Treatment Team (YACT) is a licensed outpatient psychiatric service tailored to individuals aged 18-28 who have complex needs, including frequent hospitalizations and emergency room visits, and struggle to maintain stability in their communities. Originating from the nationally recognized Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model, YACT provides evidence-based support to residents of Manhattan.
Role Purpose
The Substance Use Specialist will deliver counseling, case management, and ongoing daily assistance addressing substance use and associated co-occurring disorders. As a vital member of the multidisciplinary ACT team, this role focuses on clients with co-occurring challenges.
Working Hours
The role operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Compensation
The salary range offered is between $56,000 and $65,000 annually. Salary decisions depend on applicants' relevant experience and additional qualifications.
