Position Overview

The University Hospital Würzburg is looking for a student assistant to support work in the clinical study environment. The role is based on site in Würzburg and involves hands-on assistance with sample handling, study documentation, and related laboratory support tasks.

What You Will Do

• Collect and move biological samples within the University Hospital.
• After training, carry out sample centrifugation, pipetting, and freezing.
• Assist with documentation related to the study.
• Work on a flexible schedule of about 2 hours per day on fixed days, including weekends and public holidays.

Your Profile

• You are enrolled in at least the 3rd semester of Medicine, Biology, or Biomedical Science.
• You can work 1–2 days per week for a minimum period of 3 months.
• You bring teamwork, reliability, flexibility, and a careful, independent way of working.
• Initial laboratory experience is helpful, but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Compensation is based on the relevant collective bargaining agreements. Applicants with severe disabilities will be given preference if they are otherwise equally qualified. If you earned your degree outside the EU, a full recognition report from the Central Office for Foreign Education is required. A university degree is not required for this student position, but enrollment in the specified study programs is mandatory.
