Job description
Position Summary
This role is an identified position open exclusively to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates, as authorized under Section 14(D) of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act, 1977. Applicants must provide Confirmation of Aboriginality in accordance with University procedures.
The Student Recruitment Officer will be instrumental in carrying out initiatives and programs aimed at attracting prospective Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to the University. This role fosters awareness about educational opportunities and supports community engagement on the Central Coast campuses.
Key Duties
- Implement strategic recruitment activities targeted at high schools and community groups.
- Organize and manage engagement events held on the Central Coast campuses.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with a variety of internal departments and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and an approachable demeanor, committed to inspiring prospective students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students and community members.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding the Wollotuka Cultural Standards in all aspects of work.
Remuneration & Benefits
The salary range for this full-time continuing role is $93,929 to $103,641 per annum, plus superannuation. Benefits include:
