Work Location and Schedule

The position is based at Ambition Guru College, Putalisadak, Kathmandu. Working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Friday.

Job Summary

The Student Placement Officer will oversee placement support for students of Ambition Guru College and help connect them with appropriate roles within Ambition Guru Pvt. Ltd. The position calls for someone who communicates well, counsels effectively, and coordinates smoothly across students, parents, the college, and the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate the full student placement workflow for Ambition Guru College.
• Conduct one-to-one and group guidance sessions on career direction, employment options, and professional growth.
• Plan and run placement events, workshops, and training on job applications, interview preparation, and readiness for the workplace.
• Respond to parents’ questions and keep them informed about placement progress and updates.
• Work with different internal teams to identify appropriate opportunities and align them with student profiles.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of student information, placement activities, and final outcomes.
• Support students after placement and collect feedback to improve the placement process over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a client-facing position, ideally in Human Resources.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Good organizing, record-keeping, documentation, and presentation skills.
• A supportive, approachable, and student-centered attitude.
• Ability to work on your own and also collaborate effectively with a team.

This role requires a person who can balance counselling, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication while keeping student outcomes at the center of the work.
