About Sama

Sama is a nonprofit affiliated with NavGurukul focused on closing the digital gap by repurposing end-of-life laptops. We collaborate with partners to collect, refurbish, and redistribute devices to underserved women and youth, facilitating access to education, jobs, and digital skills while minimizing electronic waste.

As Sama expands nationwide, it is establishing robust systems, partnerships, and operational excellence to maximize impact. The CEO's Office is pivotal in advancing strategic priorities, enabling cross-functional execution, and scaling organizational capabilities.

Role Overview

We seek a Strategy & Special Projects Associate to work closely with the CEO's Office on key projects spanning operations, partnerships, technology, and organizational strategy. This role suits individuals who enjoy tackling complex challenges through systems thinking and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support critical initiatives led by the CEO's Office, coordinating efforts from concept through implementation.
  • Conduct research, analyze issues, and propose effective solutions to operational challenges.
  • Design and enhance scalable processes, standard operating procedures, and documentation.
  • Develop and refine operational workflows across logistics, partnerships, and internal functions.
  • Identify automation opportunities leveraging AI and digital tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Create dashboards and tracking mechanisms that enhance transparency and decision-making.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze operational data to generate actionable insights.
  • Produce reports, presentations, and briefing notes for leadership review.
  • Facilitate coordination between operations, partnerships, technology, and program teams, ensuring seamless communication and accountability.
  • Lead special initiatives that fall outside traditional team boundaries, promoting experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in organizational planning, strategic discussions, and dynamic execution as priorities evolve.

Candidate Profile

  • Ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, including precise documentation.

Location and Travel
