Job description
About Rue Four
Rue Four is developing the operational AI layer for the medical industry. The company is growing quickly, has found strong product-market fit, and is supported by leading investors. The team comes from companies such as Uber, DoorDash, Amazon, Two Sigma, and Traba, and is focused on building a new category in healthcare technology.
The culture is high-energy, accountable, and mission-driven. The team expects strong ownership, fast execution, and a deep commitment to users and clients. This role is based in New York, NY, in a full-time in-office environment.
Role Overview
This is a highly important role focused on making sure new healthcare clients are onboarded successfully and that internal strategy is translated into smooth day-to-day execution. You will act as the operational connector between Sales, Product, and Engineering so that doctors and clients begin seeing value quickly and internal teams stay aligned across the customer journey.
You will partner closely with leadership to improve processes, support implementation, and strengthen client outcomes through organized execution, strategic thinking, and hands-on coordination. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys working across functions, taking ownership in a startup setting, and solving ambiguous problems with structure and urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operations for the medical practices managed by Rue Four.
- Run client-facing conversations, join customer calls, track rollout progress, and identify open needs.
- Own the onboarding and implementation journey for healthcare customers from contract signature through successful deployment.
- Work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to clear blockers, identify process improvements, and support customer priorities.
- Track client adoption and feedback to spot patterns and opportunities for product or workflow enhancements.
- Maintain and improve internal implementation playbooks, documentation, and client communication processes.
- Help ensure client expectations are managed clearly, timelines are hit, and communication remains proactive.
- Take charge of client issues and projects with a practical, action-oriented approach.
- Contribute to attracting strong talent to join the team.
Work Style and Culture
Rue Four operates with a fast pace and a strong performance mindset. The environment is intense, autonomous, and highly execution-focused. The company expects long hours, often 60+ per week, not because it is required, but because the mission is demanding and the team is deeply invested in the work. Candidates should be comfortable with pressure, ambiguity, and a startup environment that rewards speed and ownership.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in management consulting, banking, operations, founder-led work, or a generalist role at an early-stage startup.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Comfort taking on varied responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver in messy, unstructured, or ambiguous settings.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Willingness to work onsite at the New York office five days per week.
Who You Are
- You perform well in fast-moving environments and bring strong energy and commitment to your work.
- You are ambitious and enjoy tackling difficult problems that others may see as impossible.
- You are naturally curious and interested in learning about AI, technology, and finance.
- You work independently, stay self-directed, and are comfortable operating without clear structure.
- You are collaborative, organized, thoughtful, and kind.
Perks & Benefits
- Annual team offsite in Munich for Oktoberfest.
- Meals delivered through DoorDash.
- Team-building activities and happy hours.
- Apple equipment provided for work.
- Unlimited snack budget.
- Wellness and aesthetic treatment stipend, including Botox, facials, and skincare.
- Competitive compensation backed by top investors.
