About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager based in Bengaluru who has substantial expertise managing sourcing and procurement operations both across India and internationally. This role involves end-to-end management of global vendor relationships aligned with organizational procurement policies, including supplier onboarding, vendor selection, contract review and negotiation, record management, audit facilitation, and daily procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier onboarding within the Microsoft D365 ERP system, ensuring thorough document verification and accurate record tagging.
- Provide assistance and training to vendors for successful onboarding and usage of the vendor portal.
- Handle purchase requests and implement sourcing strategies to identify quality vendors.
- Develop RFQ and RFP documents to solicit quotes and proposals from various departments under guidance from the senior procurement manager.
- Conduct supplier selection strictly following procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare selection reports and secure necessary approvals prior to issuing purchase orders (POs).
- Manage purchase requests and PO processes, ensuring timely and accurate PO release.
- Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries across multiple centers in India and internationally.
- Maintain procurement records compliant with audit requirements and policy guidelines.
- Record all procurement contracts in the contract management system, monitoring their lifecycle and alerting relevant teams of renewals.
- Create procurement reports and dashboards customized to organizational needs.
- Champion sustainable procurement initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions and supporting the company’s carbon neutrality objectives.
- Promote supplier diversity goals within procurement activities.
- Conduct reverse auction events utilizing appropriate reverse auction tools when required.
- Manage daily procurement operations effectively.
Technical Skills Required
- Extensive understanding of indirect procurement within IT/ITES or large global organizations.
- Experience with categories such as Administration, IT, Manpower Services, and Professional Services.
- Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including IT, Admin, HR, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Proven experience handling both internal and external audit processes.
- Skilled in managing RFPs incorporating commercial and technical considerations.
- Hands-on expertise in using sourcing and procurement tools.
- Capability to draft and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for procurement services.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing commercial contract clauses.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, along with management tools and applications.
- Experience in contract lifecycle management through relevant platforms.

Education and Certifications
