About the Organization

Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading the company’s strategic planning function and supporting senior leaders in defining long-term business direction. The selected candidate will shape strategic plans, assess market opportunities, coordinate enterprise-wide planning efforts, and help ensure that key initiatives are executed successfully across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and run enterprise-level strategic planning processes that align with the company’s vision, mission, business goals, and growth priorities.
  • Lead the annual strategy cycle, business planning work, enterprise goal-setting, and coordinated planning efforts across departments.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams in finance, operations, technology, product, marketing, sales, human resources, and other units to connect strategy with day-to-day execution.
  • Carry out market studies, competitive analysis, industry reviews, customer insight gathering, macroeconomic assessment, and scenario planning to uncover opportunities and risks.
  • Build business cases, financial models, investment evaluations, growth plans, and strategic recommendations to support executive decisions and allocation of resources.
  • Set strategic goals, KPIs, OKRs, balanced scorecards, and governance structures to track performance and progress.
  • Review results against strategic goals, identify gaps in performance, and propose corrective actions to strengthen execution.
  • Coordinate portfolio planning, priority setting, transformation programs, and other cross-functional strategic initiatives to maximize enterprise value.
  • Spot strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and competitive risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans that support long-term resilience.
  • Facilitate strategy workshops, planning meetings, governance sessions, quarterly reviews, and leadership presentations to drive alignment and informed decisions.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, board materials, strategic reports, market analyses, and recommendation documents for senior leadership and governance bodies.
  • Guide, coach, and develop strategic planning analysts, business strategists, and project teams while promoting analytical rigor, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, strategy, engineering, operations management, management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • A master’s degree such as an MBA, or equivalent professional credentials like PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard Professional, PRINCE2, or comparable certifications, is an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, management consulting, business planning, business transformation, or a similar area.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading enterprise strategy initiatives, business performance programs, or cross-functional strategy teams is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, corporate strategy, business performance management, financial modeling, market analysis, portfolio planning, governance, KPIs, OKRs, and balanced scorecard methods.
  • Experience using enterprise planning tools, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau, financial modeling tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, AI-driven analytics, enterprise risk management, change management, and strategy execution frameworks is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical ability, strategic judgment, financial understanding, leadership, organization, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to turn a long-term vision into practical strategic plans while balancing priorities, operations, financial performance, and sustainable growth.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote setup.
