Job description
About the Company
Moomoo is a rapidly expanding wealth-tech and investing platform with a global footprint across Singapore, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Malaysia. Built in 2018, the business now serves more than 28 million users worldwide. In Singapore, Moomoo Financial Singapore Pte. Ltd. operates under Monetary Authority of Singapore regulation (Licence No. CMS101000), and in 2022 it became the first digital brokerage to secure all five SGX Group memberships spanning securities and derivatives. The company’s mission is to make investing more accessible, informed, and data-driven, helping more people build wealth with better tools, insights, and technology.
Role Overview
Moomoo is strengthening its Corporate Affairs function to support sustainable growth by building credibility, trust, and a stronger brand presence. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will play a central role in creating and managing relationships that broaden Moomoo’s influence, reach, and reputation across Singapore’s financial and capital markets ecosystem. This role suits someone who is highly connected, commercially minded, and able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on relationship management. The position reports to the Regional Head of Corporate Affairs and sits within a regional team covering Communications, Strategic Partnerships, and Investor Education.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and nurture relationships with industry specialists, policymakers, investors, business partners, ecosystem participants, and other relevant stakeholders in Singapore and across the region.
- Spot and pursue opportunities that build Moomoo’s awareness, credibility, and influence across capital markets, financial institutions, education and professional bodies, government agencies, and community groups.
- Act as a dependable representative of Corporate Affairs, ensuring consistent and credible engagement with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify and secure high-value speaking slots, forums, conferences, and industry platforms that support Moomoo’s strategic goals.
- Source, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships such as co-branded initiatives, content collaborations, joint events, distribution agreements, and cross-referral arrangements.
- Own the full partnership journey from prospecting and outreach through negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing account management.
- Measure partnership performance, impact, and return on investment, then use those insights to refine priorities and future strategy.
- Partner closely with Communications, Investor Education, and business teams to activate partnerships in ways that create value for both sides.
- Apply sound judgment when assessing partner fit, aligning expectations, and handling delicate or complex relationship situations.
- Support participation in major industry events, conferences, and community convenings so that Moomoo remains visible in the right circles.
- Work with internal stakeholders to design and deliver partner events, activations, and content that deepen engagement.
- Help manage Moomoo’s presence at flagship events such as MooFest, ensuring a polished, seamless, and distinctive stakeholder experience.
- Monitor market, community, and stakeholder developments to surface new partnership opportunities and inform positioning decisions.
- Assist with issues management and stakeholder engagement when partnerships intersect with reputational or sensitive external matters.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent post-secondary qualification in business, finance, communications, or a similar field.
- Roughly 9 to 12 years of relevant experience, with flexibility based on the strength of the candidate’s profile, attitude, and growth mindset.
- Background in one or more of these areas: capital markets, financial services, corporate development, partnerships, government relations, investor relations, or business development.
- Comfort and familiarity with financial products and services.
- An established network across Singapore’s financial, corporate, and public sector community, with a proven ability to open doors and sustain meaningful relationships.
- Strong interpersonal presence and a natural ability to connect with different stakeholder groups while building trust quickly.
- A proactive, strategic business development mindset with the ability to operate independently and stay effective in ambiguity.
- Self-driven, results-focused, and able to work under pressure while contributing positively as part of a team.
- Practical and resourceful, with willingness to move between strategic thinking, execution, and administrative detail as needed.
- High ethical standards, strong problem-solving ability, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters.
- Good collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.
