About the Role
This position can be based either in New York, NY, or at Google's Playa Vista campus in California, with applicants in Los Angeles County considered under fair chance hiring laws.
The YouTube Youth Business Organization is dedicated to enhancing the quality and breadth of content for children and teens, ensuring creators uphold their responsibility towards this audience across various formats and platforms. A successful candidate will drive growth and engagement by partnering with top media and endemic creators to produce appealing, high-standard content for YouTube and YouTube Kids.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and nurture a portfolio of creators and media companies to uncover partnership opportunities and facilitate audience and channel expansion.
- Drive adoption of YouTube products and features by partners through execution of distribution and product adoption strategies.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to detect trends, address challenges, and foster continual growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams across business, product, sales, marketing, policy, legal, and communications to solve issues and amplify opportunities.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as workshops and events designed to share best practices with partners and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Have at least 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with C-level executives and collaborating cross-functionally at various organizational levels.
- Proven record of overseeing agreements or partnerships effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in negotiating agreements and ensuring their effective and successful execution.
- Familiarity with the Kids, Family, or YouTube content ecosystem, with a track record driving product adoption and partner growth.
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights and enhance operational processes.
- Capacity to handle multiple time-sensitive projects using structured planning and attentive execution.
- Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation capabilities, adept at engaging audiences in settings ranging from small meetings to large events.
Additional Information
Individual compensation is determined by skills, experience, and education, ranging between $112,000 and $162,000 annually, complemented with a 15% bonus target, equity options, and benefits.
