This position sits within the Finance team and acts as a strategic, financial, and operational partner to executives and business leaders across the business. The role is based at the New York City headquarters and reports to the VP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly financial reporting cycle, including variance analysis, leadership-ready summaries, and actionable insights for senior management.
  • Drive quarterly forecasting and support annual budgeting across both revenue and expense lines.
  • Create and update financial models used for scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and long-range strategy.
  • Analyze studio-level profit and loss performance to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities early.
  • Design KPI tracking structures and dashboards that help teams make better business decisions.
  • Handle special strategic analyses and business case work to assess new initiatives and investment opportunities.
  • Work closely with Analytics, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, and Executive stakeholders to keep planning and execution aligned.
  • Support the VP of Finance in preparing quarterly Board presentations, including performance updates, key takeaways, and strategic recommendations.
  • Convert complex financial information into practical recommendations that can be understood by non-finance audiences.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, consulting, or FP&A.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics is preferred.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to form thoughtful opinions on strategy, performance, and business initiatives.
  • Comfort working in a fast-changing environment with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Advanced Excel capability and strong financial modeling skills are essential.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including experience building presentations for executive audiences.
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial planning and accounting tools such as Hyperion, OneStream, JDE, or D365 is a plus.
  • Experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail environments is an added advantage.
