Job description

Role Overview

The field of enterprise contract renewals is evolving dramatically. High-level professionals transitioned away from routine administrative work, dedicating themselves to advancing AI systems that automate these tasks. In this distinctive position, you will oversee the most critical enterprise accounts for Trilogy, collaborating side-by-side with Fiona, an AI-powered renewals agent who manages preparation, data analysis, contract processes, and standardized follow-ups. Your expertise will focus on interactions requiring nuanced human insight, such as aligning with executives, crafting strategic commercial approaches, conducting complex negotiations, and decisions beyond AI's current capability. Each renewal you facilitate supports Fiona's continual learning, progressively enhancing system intelligence through every customer engagement.

About Trilogy

Trilogy empowers hundreds of software enterprises via its Business Platform. Known for its relentless pursuit of exceptional talent, technological innovation, and the incubation of new ventures, Trilogy blends straightforward customer-centric design with pioneering cloud-based architectures. Working here offers opportunities to collaborate with outstanding professionals, produce meaningful work, and advance your career rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain executive-level relationships and lead commercial negotiations for high-value, complex enterprise renewals involving multi-year contracts worth millions.
  • Work alongside Fiona, the AI renewals agent, to leverage customer insights and optimize AI capabilities and autonomy.
  • Analyze customer health data, adoption rates, commercial history, and risk factors to proactively secure favorable contract renewals.
  • Utilize Salesforce and AI-enhanced workflows for precise forecasting, early detection of renewal risks, and targeted intervention where human judgment is paramount.
  • Transform learnings from customer interactions into scalable improvements that continuously elevate the renewals system's effectiveness.

What This Role Does Not Include

  • Performing manual renewal paperwork, tracking approvals, or routine admin tasks.
  • Managing high-volume, transactional renewals or small-to-medium business client portfolios.
  • Generating new business leads or pursuing traditional commission-based sales targets.
  • Developing software code or creating AI models.
  • Leading large renewal teams instead of directly managing high-impact client outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in managing B2B software enterprise renewals or retention efforts involving individual accounts with minimum $100K annual recurring revenue.
  • Demonstrated accountability for quarterly retention or net revenue retention goals with consistent achievement of at least 90% NRR over multiple quarters.
  • Experience directing complex, multi-year enterprise renewals valued at $1 million or above.
  • Hands-on familiarity using AI-driven or autonomous tools in enterprise renewal, customer success, or sales operations.
  • Strong Salesforce or comparable CRM skills focusing on renewal forecasting, risk evaluation, and pipeline management.
  • Exceptional skills in executive communication, commercial negotiation, and cultivated relationship management.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fully remote, global team environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in optimizing AI prompts, workflows, or business logic based on customer interactions.
  • Experience within enterprise SaaS, cloud software, or subscription-based technology markets.
  • Competence integrating data from contracts, customer health metrics, support cases, and product usage to shape renewal strategies.
  • Strong systems-thinking aptitude demonstrated by improving repeatable commercial processes through automation.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with immediate availability. The contract is established through an independent contractor agreement with Crossover, serving as the contractor of record. Compensation is set at $100 per hour, corresponding to an estimated annual salary of $200,000 assuming a 50-week work year. Payments are disbursed weekly.
