Role Overview

As the Strategic Account Executive for ASEAN, you will spearhead new business sales in complex, multi-stakeholder environments managing end-to-end deal cycles. This includes prospecting, qualification, pricing, negotiation, and closure, aimed at driving substantial new revenue growth within the ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a focused, cross-regional sales strategy to penetrate key C-level prospects, win new clients, and accelerate revenue expansion.
  • Lead your territory as a CEO by coordinating cross-functional virtual teams to execute go-to-market plans, including entering or creating new markets when needed.
  • Seamlessly transition closed deals to Account Management teams to ensure superior customer experience.
  • Effectively qualify leads early by discerning pain points and matching prospects to Bloomreach’s Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Apply advanced sales methodologies such as Value-Based Selling, MEDDPICC, or Challenger Sales to navigate and close intricate sales cycles.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline—three times the quarterly target—through active prospecting and engaging with C-level clients across multiple channels including cold calls, RFP responses, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SDRs, channel partners, marketing, enablement, product, and customer success to revive stalled deals and mature opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive business needs analyses and prepare compelling client briefings, demos, and proposals demonstrating Bloomreach’s unique value.
  • Clearly communicate how Bloomreach’s solutions outperform competitors and position the company favorably for purchasing decisions.
  • Understand and influence the RFP process early in client engagements.
  • Maintain high standards of CRM data accuracy for effective reporting and forecasting.
  • Develop and sustain strong, multithreaded relationships with clients at various decision-making levels, providing continuous engagement and adapting to evolving needs.
  • Offer insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to enhance sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Exhibit initiative and consistently surpass new business revenue targets.
  • Act as a mentor and provide support to peers across regions and junior team members.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience focused on software or SaaS products.
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing Technology (MarTech), including CRM, Marketing Automation, CMS, Search, Merchandising, and data capabilities.
  • A proven history of exceeding revenue targets in Sales Manager or similar roles.
  • Established network and presence in local markets across ASEAN.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals collaboratively within teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong client relationship management skills, and dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Adaptability and self-motivation to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including high-level presentation abilities.
  • Strong time management skills, a positive mindset, and passion for sales.
