Overview
Randstad, a global leader in talent solutions, is looking for a Strategic Account Director to drive growth within key accounts. This role acts as the primary contact between Randstad and the leadership teams of major clients, aiming to expand account relationships and utilize Randstad’s wide range of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance revenue, profit margins, and financial outcomes for a portfolio of strategic accounts across all Randstad business lines and markets.
- Create and execute strategic account plans to retain and grow business by engaging Randstad North America resources to increase market presence.
- Maintain continuous communication with clients to ensure superior service, discover enhancement opportunities, and execute account strategies.
- Set and achieve key performance indicators with clients, applying a balanced scorecard method and conducting executive-level performance reviews.
- Align Randstad capabilities and strategies with client needs, coordinating internal teams for flawless execution.
- Improve mutual profit margins by analyzing processes and consulting closely with clients.
- Identify and capitalize on additional revenue streams through strong relationships with HR, procurement, and operations contacts.
- Work with operational leaders to develop effective programs meeting sales and profitability goals.
- Lead contract renewals and renegotiations aligning with Randstad’s strategic goals.
- Manage new business development efforts including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for account expansion.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years successfully growing and managing complex, strategic global enterprise accounts.
- Experience overseeing complex portfolios exceeding $50 million in annual revenue with strategic execution focus.
- Proficiency in collaborating with global stakeholders and cross-business internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and delivery.
- Broad staffing expertise in Light Industrial and Professional Services sectors, including staffing models such as RPO, SOW, and staff augmentation.
- Track record of driving process improvements and demonstrating client impact.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage clients on-site.
- Strong skills in planning, execution, navigating large corporate environments, and performing in matrix structures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to cultivate trust-based relationships at C-suite levels and among internal partners for outstanding performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications, including mail, calendar, and shared drives.
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation may include variable pay components such as bonuses and commissions according to eligibility. The company adheres to wage and hour regulations, and non-exempt roles are paid hourly equivalent of the annual salary.
