Role overview
This full-time permanent position is based on a day shift from 6:00am to 2:06pm in Bibra Lake, Perth. The role supports warehouse and despatch operations, with a mix of stock handling, goods movement, and general store duties.
Key duties
- Prepare and despatch customer orders accurately and on time.
- Receive incoming deliveries, unpack items, sort and inspect them for the correct quality, quantity, type, and size, and confirm proof of delivery where required.
- Maintain inventory records, prepare store reports, and track stock movements.
- Use forklifts and other material-handling equipment to shift containers, crates, cartons, IBCs, and palletised goods.
- Carry out general housekeeping tasks as needed.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant holds a current Australian forklift licence and has at least 3 years of hands-on experience operating both high-reach and counterbalance forklifts. Experience with Mobicon straddle carriers is considered an advantage. The role suits someone who is physically fit, comfortable lifting up to 25 kg, and able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written form. Strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team are important. Experience with Dangerous Goods and HACCP systems is preferred. Two contactable references are also required.
