The Role & Project
MACA Mining is seeking an experienced Storeperson for their maintenance team at the Karlawinda project, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 65km southeast of Newman. This role operates on a 2/1 roster, involving both day and night shifts from Monday to Monday. The project utilizes heavy machinery including Komatsu 1500 Dump Trucks, D10 Dozers, 16M Graders, and Hitachi EX3600, Liebherr 9200 & 9300 Excavators. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain inventory within the store.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to support operational needs.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first culture.
- Maintain a focus on quality in all tasks performed.
- Contribute positively to the team and workplace culture.
Requirements
- Possession of a Forklift Ticket.
- A current Western Australian Driver's Licence.
- Proven experience operating a forklift.
- Familiarity with JDE (desirable).
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles (desirable).
- Commitment to quality and safety standards.
