Role overview
This opportunity sits within Toll’s expanding Government and Defence portfolio under the Defence Theatre Logistics contract. The role is based in Laverack and focuses on making sure Defence personnel receive essential equipment, supplies, and materials exactly when and where they are needed. The work is hands-on, detail-focused, and important to the wider Defence capability.
What you will do
- Handle incoming goods, organise storage, pick and pack orders, and prepare items for dispatch.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment used for moving materials around the warehouse.
- Work with warehouse systems to keep stock records accurate and action reports as needed.
- Keep the workplace safe, clean, and aligned with Defence compliance requirements.
- Work closely with teammates and leaders to meet operational goals and deliver reliable outcomes.

What you should bring
Experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar environment is preferred but not essential. You should be comfortable with manual handling, have strong attention to detail, communicate well, and work effectively as part of a team. A safety-first approach and good time management are important, especially in a fast-moving setting with deadlines.
Eligibility and checks
Applicants must be Australian citizens and must be eligible to obtain and keep an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance at Baseline level or above, depending on the role. You also need to be able to work in Australia and be willing to complete pre-employment screening, which may include a criminal history check, medical assessment, and other background checks.
