Job description

Company Overview

Parvi Hospitality is an expanding hospitality business focused on providing pleasant, comfortable stays and responsive service to guests. The organization places a strong emphasis on high operating standards, dependable support work, and orderly back-of-house processes. Employees are expected to take responsibility for their tasks, work well with other departments, and help create a smooth guest experience. Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic are highly valued, especially in store and inventory-related functions.

Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Storekeeper position is based in Nellore. The selected person will handle incoming supplies by receiving, inspecting, and unloading materials, while making sure every item is properly logged and placed in the correct storage location. The role includes keeping inventory records current, tracking stock movement, organizing and labeling stored items, and maintaining storage spaces that are tidy, secure, and easy to access.

In addition, the Storekeeper will prepare items for internal issue, pack materials for movement between departments, and assist with regular stock checks and inventory audits. Close coordination with purchasing, kitchen, housekeeping, and other operational teams is essential to keep supplies available on time and reduce the risk of shortages or excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities

The position involves daily control of stock receipts, storage, and distribution, along with accurate documentation of inventory updates. The Storekeeper will support safe handling of goods, maintain organized storage systems, and contribute to periodic counts and audits. Working across departments to ensure material availability is also a core part of the job.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have strong capability in inventory monitoring and stock management, with the ability to keep records accurate and support routine physical stock verification. Practical experience in packing and unloading goods is important, along with safe handling of materials during receipt and dispatch.

Where applicable, the role may involve operating forklift or other material-handling equipment in line with safety rules. Candidates should also have basic math and computer skills, including comfort with inventory systems or ERP tools and spreadsheets. Strong organization, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a busy hospitality setting are important. Good communication and teamwork skills are needed for coordination with multiple departments.

Previous experience in a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar position within hospitality or a related industry is preferred. The job may require lifting and moving packages, as well as standing or walking for long periods while following standard workplace safety practices.

Additional Information

This role is part of the hospitality operations function and requires active collaboration with several internal teams to keep stores and supplies running efficiently.
