Job Overview
We are seeking Storekeepers to work full-time at our Lekki Phase 1 and Ijora locations in Lagos. This role involves managing stock records, ensuring proper inventory control, and maintaining standards of storage and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to standard procedures for issuing and receiving stock within assigned store operations.
- Regularly monitor inventory and compile purchase orders according to stock levels and needs.
- Receive goods and maintain accurate, organized records including filing reports and invoices.
- Track automatic reorder levels for all food items to maintain stock availability.
- Verify that all received goods match purchase agreements, delivery notes, and quantities.
- Ensure daily checks of storage facilities, maintaining proper upkeep and cleanliness.
- Reject any damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items upon delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storage areas, complying strictly with hygiene regulations.
- Ensure all store requisition forms are signed by the collectors and correctly inputted into the inventory system.
- Promptly post all invoices upon receipt of items.
- Document any after-hours inventory issues in line with internal control procedures.
- Conduct inventory audits to assess stock levels and requirements.
- Complete requisition forms for needed inventory and supplies.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement for ordering and receiving items and equipment.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of at least an Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
- Preferably a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role, especially within a fast food restaurant context.
- Understanding of inventory management and market requisition processes.
- Strong numerical skills and effective communication abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Must reside near the preferred job location.
- Preference given to male candidates to balance gender representation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Net monthly salary of 80000 Nigerian Naira.
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) benefits included.
