About the Role
This opportunity is designed to groom aspiring retail leaders via comprehensive, hands-on training in store operations, customer relations, inventory supervision, and commercial performance metrics. The program builds strong managerial and operational expertise, preparing participants to positively impact store profitability and advance into departmental leadership upon successful completion.
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Excellence
- Assist frontline associates in delivering an exceptional and consistent customer service experience.
- Promote awareness of ongoing promotions, marketing campaigns, and value offerings to boost sales.
- Contribute actively towards establishing an inviting and customer-focused shopping atmosphere.
- Maintain superior customer satisfaction across all points of interaction in the store.
Store Operations & Execution
- Support daily store operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Uphold cleanliness, proper store layout, and visual merchandising aligned with planogram guidelines.
- Oversee pricing accuracy and promotional implementation to safeguard brand standards.
- Identify operational shortcomings and promptly communicate improvement needs.
- Assist POS activities to facilitate efficient billing, daily cash reconciliation, and timely bank deposits.
Inventory & Shrinkage Management
- Aid in comprehensive inventory tasks including receipt of stock, replenishment, and ensuring product availability on shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels diligently to prevent out-of-stock scenarios, excess stock, and reduce write-offs.
- Detect and report any inconsistencies, damages, or risks related to shrinkage.
- Participate actively in inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory optimization projects.
Leadership & Team Development
- Work closely with store personnel to nurture a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Exhibit responsibility, accountability, and proactive problem-solving in all duties.
- Enhance retail, operational, and leadership skills continuously in preparation for managerial responsibilities.
