About the Role

As a Store Supervisor in Port Augusta, South Australia, you will work alongside the store leadership group to help create great customer experiences and support the team in bringing customers’ DIY projects to life. You will also play an important role in maintaining strong visual merchandising and making sure store presentation aligns with marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the store leadership team in day-to-day operations.
  • Lead by example by delivering excellent customer service and supporting the team to provide friendly, practical advice.
  • Coach team members on the service behaviours expected in the store.
  • Help with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Maintain merchandising standards so they match business expectations.
  • Help organise and manage stock across the store.

Experience and Skills Needed

  • Prior experience supervising a team in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong customer service focus and a genuine interest in helping others grow.
  • Ability to coach, develop, and give constructive feedback to team members.
  • Capability to work with the team to deliver targets and quality standards.
  • Clear and open communication style.
  • Confidence and approachability when speaking with customers.
  • Willingness to learn about new products.
  • Comfort with being on your feet and helping customers during varied retail hours.
