Job description

About Us

Norco is Australia’s longest-running and largest dairy co-operative, with over 130 years of experience backing Australian agriculture. Owned entirely by Australian farmers, the organisation operates through two core divisions: DairyFoods and AgriSolutions, and it places strong emphasis on its people, customers and the communities it serves.

Through Norco AgriSolutions, the business has supported rural customers since 1948. It now runs 26 retail stores across New South Wales and Queensland, alongside animal nutrition mills and an internal commodity trading team. Its knowledgeable retail and field-based teams offer practical guidance and dependable solutions that help customers achieve success.

About the Role

An opportunity is available for an organised, energetic and experienced Store Person / Delivery Driver to join the Toowoomba team on a permanent full-time basis.

This position goes beyond a standard delivery job. It combines hands-on warehouse work, product delivery to local farms, support for store operations and the chance to build meaningful customer relationships across the region.

The role includes Saturday availability as part of the roster.

Key Duties

  • Accept incoming stock, unload deliveries and place goods into storage safely.
  • Keep the warehouse tidy, secure and compliant with workplace health and safety standards.
  • Transport rural products reliably and safely to farms and nearby businesses.
  • Plan and follow rural delivery routes so orders arrive accurately and on schedule.
  • Support the wider rural retail operation through sales assistance, merchandising and yard duties.
  • Deliver helpful, solution-oriented service to customers at the counter, on the road and in the yard.

Why You’ll Like Working Here

  • Join a varied, customer-facing role where each day brings different tasks and priorities.
  • Be part of a cooperative with a 130-year history of supporting Australian farmers.
  • Benefit from continuous learning, development pathways and internal progression opportunities.
  • Access staff discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, paid parental leave, novated leasing, in-house leadership training and other rewards.
  • Work in an organisation that places real value on wellbeing, safety and a people-first environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A current heavy vehicle licence with a strong focus on safe driving, minimum HR.
  • A forklift licence, or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Prior background in warehousing, delivery or rural retail work.
  • A strong safety orientation and awareness of WHS requirements and road/traffic laws.
  • Knowledge of local and rural roads and delivery routes.
  • The physical ability to complete manual handling tasks safely.
  • Clear communication skills and a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Good time management, accuracy and basic computer literacy.
  • The ability to work well within a small, close-knit team.
  • Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.
