About the Role
This position is for a customer-oriented Store Optometrist who will deliver eye-care services inside the store while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every visitor. The role is offered as an on-roll position with a 3-year contract that is renewable.
What You’ll Do
- Perform eye examinations and basic vision checks for customers.
- Identify vision-related concerns and common eye conditions through appropriate testing.
- Recommend corrective eyewear, including spectacles and contact lenses, based on the assessment.
- Offer expert guidance on vision correction choices and general eye-care practices.
- Keep patient files, test results, and medical details accurately updated.
- Support customers in choosing frames and lenses that suit their needs.
- Check in with customers after purchase to confirm satisfaction with the eyewear provided.
- Maintain a tidy, well-organized workspace and uphold strong service standards.
- Stay informed about developments in optometry, eye care, and optical tools or technology.
Employment Terms
This is an on-roll contractual role for 3 years, with the possibility of renewal.
Education Requirement
Candidates must hold a B.Sc. in Optometry.
