Store Officer

About the Role and Company

We are seeking a Store Officer for a sub-subcontractor firm in the Oil & Gas industry, delivering engineering and construction services on major projects throughout Qatar. This full-time on-site position is based in Doha and requires candidates to be locally available with a valid Qatar ID and transferable visa or NOC.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project stores, including proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
• Inspect, verify, and document incoming materials and supplies accurately.
• Maintain precise records of stock and organize storage areas efficiently.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to track purchase orders and monitor inventory levels.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and support internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and company policies at the store facility.
• Enforce housekeeping standards and promote safe handling of materials within the store.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in stock control and inventory management with attention to detail.
• Experienced in reconciliation, documentation, and reporting of inventory.
• Familiar with processing and tracking purchase orders in coordination with related departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP, as well as item code creation.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic construction or engineering worksite environment and collaborate with multiple teams.
• Previous experience in storekeeping or materials management, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related fields is preferred.
