Store Manager - Retail (Havells Brand Store)

About the Role

Maa Communications is hiring a proactive Store Manager to oversee daily activities at a Havells branded retail store located in Frazer Town, Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 5 years of retail sales experience, preferably in electricals, appliances, or consumer durables, and have a strong inclination towards managing store operations efficiently while achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance to meet monthly revenue targets.
• Ensure a superior customer experience to foster repeat business.
• Manage daily store operations such as opening, closing, billing, and inventory control.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards aligned with Havells brand guidelines.
• Handle customer questions, perform product demonstrations, and assist in converting inquiries into sales.
• Monitor inventory stock levels and manage timely replenishment.
• Guarantee proper display and detailed knowledge of Havells product categories including fans, lighting, and appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Support daily reporting tasks including sales and stock movement tracking.
• Collaborate on local marketing campaigns and in-store promotions to stimulate sales orders.
• Initiate and develop business beyond walk-in customers by engaging with local contractors, architects, builders, interior designers, electricians, institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Identify new business prospects, generate leads, and secure orders to fulfill store sales objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in retail sales, with a preference for consumer durables or electrical products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including mandatory fluency in Kannada.
• Basic understanding of sales targets and key performance indicators for retail stores.
• Willingness to take ownership and develop into a store leadership role.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations, billing software, and preferably Excel.
• A professional and customer-oriented demeanor.
