Job description
Role overview
This position leads the store’s commercial performance, customer experience, and operational standards. As the store’s brand representative, you will guide a team that includes an assistant manager, supervisors, and sales assistants, helping them create memorable experiences for customers while keeping the store aligned with business goals.
Key responsibilities
You will be accountable for sales delivery, KPI achievement, and day-to-day store leadership. The role calls for strong retail presence, confident communication, and the ability to build a high-accountability culture while developing team capability and succession.
- Lead and energise the in-store team each day so targets are met and exceeded, while modelling excellent customer service.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor and ensure back-of-house processes support smooth commercial execution.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members with support from regional leadership, helping them realise their potential and progress into future roles.
- Act as a dependable partner for managers across the division and help create alignment across the wider region.
- Use data and business insight to spot trends, identify root causes, and take action to improve results.
- Translate local, regional, and wider business priorities into clear store execution.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is an inspiring retail leader with a proven record of managing larger teams, delivering results, and building trust and engagement. Experience with a recognised brand or desirable consumer products retail is preferred, and this opportunity may suit a senior supervisor or assistant manager ready for the next step.
