About the Role
CVS Health is focused on creating a more connected, convenient, and caring health experience for every person, family, and community. In this development role, you will be prepared for a future Store Manager position through a structured learning path designed to build retail leadership capability.
The Store Manager in Training program is built to strengthen your readiness for store leadership through a 16-week self-paced and collaborative training experience. You will learn through both virtual and hands-on formats, with support from a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach.
What You Will Do
- Build the leadership skills needed to move toward a Store Manager role.
- Work alongside management as a team member and help lead in line with CVS values and policies.
- Support customer service, sales growth, inventory control, and store profitability.
- Take part in key learning experiences with your leader throughout the structured program.
- Encourage and support colleagues in delivering on the company’s purpose of helping people improve their health.
- Be open to promotion opportunities within the market where you work.

Requirements
- Willingness to accept a Store Manager promotion anywhere within the designated market.
- Ability to transfer between CVS Pharmacy locations in the assigned market.
- Availability to work a schedule that may change based on business needs.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor is required/preferred for consideration.
- Relevant work experience may be considered in place of a four-year college degree.
- Selection for the program does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager; advancement depends on factors such as performance and open positions.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected hourly pay range for this role is $18.50 to $23.88. Final pay may vary based on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
This full-time role includes eligibility for a benefits package that may cover medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
