OPSM is looking for a Store Manager to lead the Newmarket store team in Auckland. Previous optical experience is not required as comprehensive training is offered to enable confidence in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate store employees to achieve sales goals.
• Manage change processes including new product and technology introductions.
• Drive team engagement and expertise to promote new product adoption.
• Handle daily store activities such as staff scheduling, inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance adherence.
• Deliver outstanding customer service supported by expert product knowledge.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled retail team.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging store environment.

Candidate Profile

• Proven sales leadership with a strong record of meeting KPIs.
• Experience leading teams through organizational changes and initiatives.
• Strong interest in technology and continuous learning to keep up with product innovation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and relationship management skills.
• Outstanding time management and organizational capabilities.
• Previous leadership experience in retail preferred.
