Position Overview

The Store Executive role involves managing the receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming deliveries. Responsibilities include verifying and tracking inventory with accurate record-keeping, resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers, and conducting regular inventory audits to assess stock levels and requirements. The position also entails inspecting deliveries to ensure quality and freshness, adhering strictly to food safety protocols, and maintaining appropriate Par (Periodic Automatic Replenishment) levels for all food products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process all incoming shipments efficiently.
  • Verify inventory, inspect product quality, and document all received goods.
  • Work closely with suppliers to address any mismatches between invoices and deliveries.
  • Perform inventory audits regularly to determine stock status and replenish needs.
  • Reject any damaged or substandard products and ensure proper storage until items are distributed.
  • Maintain accurate departmental paperwork and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Assist management with employee training, counseling, and motivation to ensure task completion and uphold departmental standards.
  • Promote adherence to company policies including safety regulations, confidentiality, and appearance standards.
  • Provide a welcoming environment for guests and communicate professionally both in person and over the phone.
  • Engage in other tasks as assigned to foster operational excellence and maintaining quality assurance.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
  • At least two years experience in a related procurement or inventory control role.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is essential.
  • Physical capability to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds, operate machinery, and work in various environments including narrow or slippery areas.
  • Commitment to upholding quality standards and fostering a team-oriented workplace culture.
