Role overview
As a store cleaner at Aldi in Wexford Town, you’ll help keep the shop environment tidy, safe, and pleasant for customers and colleagues. The role involves a mix of cleaning around the store, maintaining good presentation standards, and making sure customer areas remain organised throughout the day.
What you’ll do
- Support a friendly and professional experience for customers.
- Keep aisles clear so shoppers can move around safely and easily.
- Carry out routine cleaning work to help maintain the store’s safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance.
- Remove litter from around the store and keep external areas presentable.
- Clean windows and help ensure trolleys are tidy, available, and ready for use.
- Work alongside the team to uphold Aldi’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
Skills and experience
A positive attitude matters most for this position. Previous cleaning experience can be useful, but it is not essential. You should be reliable, comfortable working with others, and willing to take pride in keeping the store in excellent condition. Being approachable, organised, and able to keep up in a busy environment will help you succeed.
Working pattern
This role offers flexible working hours of 15 to 20 hours per week. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM and finish as late as 10:00 PM, depending on the store. You should have dependable transport arrangements that allow you to get to work for these shift times.
