Role Overview
The organization is seeking experienced storage professionals for a role focused on NetApp and Pure Storage environments. The position calls for strong hands-on capability in enterprise storage administration, solution design, support, and operational management across block, file, and object storage systems.
Experience and Location
This opportunity is open to candidates with 6 to 10 years of experience. The work location is Kolkata, with additional interview/work consideration for Chennai and Hyderabad. The interview date is 10 July 2026.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions across block, file, and object storage platforms.
- Provide L3 support for SAN storage environments and build low-level designs that can be converted into implementation and deployment plans.
- Handle day-to-day administration of storage systems, including performance monitoring, storage network configuration, and data integrity checks.
- Carry out block-based and file-based migration activities using tools such as UVM, NDM, or equivalent vendor utilities.
- Perform root cause analysis for storage incidents and apply corrective actions to reduce repeat issues.
- Support business continuity by contributing to backup, recovery, replication, and operational stability processes.
- Mentor L1 and L2 teams, and prepare runbooks, technical notes, and training documentation.
Technical Requirements
- Strong practical experience with enterprise storage platforms such as EMC, NetApp, and Pure Storage.
- Good understanding of SAN and NAS protocols including iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, and SMB/CIFS.
- Experience with backup and recovery products such as Commvault, Veeam, and Veritas.
- Knowledge of cloud storage services including AWS S3, Azure Blob, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and tune storage performance effectively.
- Familiarity with virtualization and container storage environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, and CSI.
- Strong scripting capability in PowerShell, Python, and Bash for automation tasks.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of storage networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco and Broadcom/Brocade.
