Role overview
The Stock Officer will assist the Head of Stock in keeping stock master information accurate, maintaining inventory references, and supporting dependable reporting within ERP tools. This role focuses on data quality, transaction processing, stock traceability, and the upkeep of structured stock records.
Key duties
- Maintain precise stock master data, inventory references, and reporting inputs in ERP platforms.
- Set up and update stock and spare-part references in Oracle, including item coding, descriptions, units, and attribute details.
- Help improve stock visibility, data consistency, and standardization across the group by providing organized data support.
- Assist with cleaning and harmonizing stock master data.
- Record stock movements in ERP systems, such as receipts, issues, and transfers, as directed by the Stock Coordinator.
- Keep transaction records traceable and well documented.
- Pull stock information and prepare simple KPI reports covering stock levels, discrepancies, and accuracy.
- Work in line with stock procedures, templates, and forms defined in the quality management system.
- Keep stock files, supporting documents, and records orderly and up to date.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, stock, logistics, or data-focused roles.
- Exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel skills will be an advantage.
- A careful, detail-focused working style with strong analytical ability.
- Working knowledge of inventory systems.
- Good communication skills.
