Position Summary

The Steward Supervisor will oversee stewarding operations at Jumeirah Jabal Omar, ensuring all shifts run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate stewarding activities across shifts to guarantee uninterrupted and efficient service.
• Maintain strict adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations in all stewarding zones.
• Enforce policy compliance, including SOPs, health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide leadership and support to team leaders and stewarding staff to meet and exceed departmental goals.
• Organize preventive maintenance for stewarding equipment in partnership with the Engineering Department.
• Ensure safe and optimal use of machinery and equipment, minimizing breakdowns and downtime.
• Implement cost control measures related to breakage, loss prevention, and efficient use of cleaning agents and supplies.
• Oversee inventory management, approving cleaning chemical and supply requests prior to escalation.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in stewarding within hotel or hospitality environments.
• Demonstrated background in supervisory or leadership roles in similar settings.
• In-depth knowledge of stewarding processes, equipment care, hygiene protocols, and back-of-house operations.
