Job description
Role Overview
Voyages Tourism Australia is hiring a Kitchen Steward Shift Leader for Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, Northern Territory. This is an onsite role in a unique resort setting, about 20 minutes by road from Uluru. The position suits someone upbeat, motivated, and comfortable in a busy hospitality environment.
In this job, you will carry out stewarding tasks efficiently and courteously to support a high standard of guest experience, while also helping oversee the stewarding team.
Key Duties
- Step in to guide kitchen stewards when the Chief Steward is unavailable.
- Make sure the stewarding team follows established operating procedures.
- Support the team with the day-to-day operational needs of the department.
Location and Work Environment
You will live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, in a resort community close to one of Australia’s most famous and culturally important landmarks. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced chefs and contribute to a large hospitality operation in an iconic destination.
