Job Overview

Akshaya Associates is looking for a polite and service-focused Steward to deliver high-quality food and beverage service to guests. This role involves preparing tables, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the dining areas, and ensuring guests have an outstanding dining experience through superior customer care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with seating arrangements.
• Provide menus and respond to guest questions about food and drinks.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate with the kitchen team.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Set up and clear tables before and after meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, crockery, and service areas.
• Replenish water, beverages, and fulfill additional guest requests during service.
• Handle guest concerns courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Adhere to hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards consistently.
• Follow hotel or restaurant operational procedures and food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in setting up banquets and special events as required.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Support daily opening and closing tasks at the restaurant.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum education: completion of 10th grade; PUC or Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, cafes, or resorts is advantageous.

Compensation

The salary range is 15,000 to 20,000 INR monthly, negotiable based on the applicant's skills and experience.
