Program Overview
We invite distinguished professors specializing in STEM fields to join our AI research initiative aimed at advancing Large Language Models within scientific and technical disciplines. This fellowship unites experts in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Engineering to collaboratively refine AI capabilities year-round, with project roles varying by specialization.
Work Details
- Fully remote and asynchronous position enabling independent work from any location.
- Flexible schedule requiring roughly 10-20 hours weekly commitment.
- Engagement includes crafting specialized prompts and critically assessing LLM outputs.

Candidate Criteria
- Current or emeritus faculty members (assistant, associate, or full professors) in relevant STEM fields.
- Authorship of more than five peer-reviewed publications.
- At least one recent publication from 2025 or 2026.
- An h-index exceeding 20.
- Accumulated over 2,000 citations.
- Excellent written communication skills to convert complex research into clear, structured instructions and evaluation metrics.
- Confident domain mastery exceeding the understanding capabilities of current AI technology in explaining core concepts.
- Only U.S.-based faculty with lawful work authorization are eligible.
Additional Eligibility Information
The program extends to U.S.-based doctoral candidates, graduates, and fellows holding valid work or training visas such as F-1/OPT, J-1, or H-1B. Candidates are responsible for compliance with their visa terms and must verify eligibility before applying. Currently, candidates needing STEM OPT with an i-983 form are not supported; however, those with approved i-983s or on pre-grad OPT, CPT, J-1, or H-1B remain eligible.
