Overview

The State Administrative Manager will be responsible for managing administrative functions across all branches in the designated state, ensuring smooth operations, facility upkeep, regulatory compliance, vendor coordination, and budget management. This role plays a critical part in supporting business growth by fostering operational excellence and governance at the state level.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise administrative operations spanning the entire state branch network.
  • Oversee facility management including preventive maintenance, asset tracking, and evaluating vendor service quality.
  • Manage infrastructure projects related to new branch establishments and expansions, ensuring readiness of sites and compliance with design and branding standards.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory adherence across locations along with maintaining audit readiness.
  • Control financial aspects such as budgeting for administrative expenses, vendor payments, utility bills, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate state-level administrative personnel including contract workers to maintain productivity and seamless branch support.

Key challenges for this role include managing dispersed geographic operations, delivering infrastructure projects efficiently within budgets and deadlines, ensuring compliance with diverse statutory norms, optimizing operational costs, and efficiently managing a broad base of vendors and stakeholders.

Key Performance Areas

  • Ensure consistent branch administration including housekeeping, security, and maintenance quality throughout the state's branches.
  • Monitor and drive new branch openings by coordinating civil, electrical, interior decoration, and branding tasks to complete projects on schedule.
  • Maintain robust compliance systems including record keeping, audit responses, and statutory reporting.
  • Effectively negotiate and manage vendor contracts and track performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, Risk, and Procurement.
  • Prepare and monitor administrative budgets, control vendor payments, and identify areas to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Guide and supervise contract personnel, fostering teamwork and operational efficiency throughout the branches.
