Staff Specialist - Supply Chain Business Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are looking for a hybrid professional combining expertise in Supply Chain Business Analysis and Data Science to connect supply chain processes with advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. This position involves close collaboration with supply chain and cross-functional teams to discover improvement opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver effective data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of impactful supply chain analytics projects for the Make Integration function—from defining business problems and key performance indicators to developing models, dashboards, and encouraging user adoption.
• Lead interactions with supply chain specialists to document current and desired processes and translate these into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate on defining data requirements, contribute to creating logical data models, and build comprehensive datasets by extracting and transforming data from diverse sources and formats.
• Create and implement artificial intelligence solutions as well as dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Tableau and SAP BusinessObjects.
• Develop monitoring systems and alerts for anomaly detection based on preset thresholds and communicate analytical trends to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct user acceptance testing, oversee change management, provide training to end users, monitor the realization of benefits, and maintain thorough documentation covering assumptions, limitations, and decision processes.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
• Possesses over 5 years of experience in supply chain analytics or business analysis roles, including working knowledge of SAP systems.
• Proficient in data visualization tools and technologies including Tableau, Excel, SQL/Access databases, SAP BusinessObjects/Intelligence, Python or JavaScript, C, and UIPath.
• Experience in software development (C#, Java) with a focus on artificial intelligence (Python, R) is desirable.
• Strong understanding of business processes with a preference for semiconductor industry experience.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and a proactive mindset towards tackling new challenges.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
