About the Role

Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan, located on Bath Road, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join their team. This role involves delivering exceptional, person-centred nursing care, emphasizing the quality of life of residents through tailored social, physical, and mental activities. Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, execute, and review personalized care plans based on best practices and HIQA standards, incorporating evidence-based nursing research.
• Deliver comprehensive, person-centred care to promote residents' independence and enhance their wellbeing.
• Develop and sustain supportive relationships with residents and their families or guardians.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care for residents.
• Maintain precise and accurate documentation of resident care and progress.
• Champion a culture of quality care that reflects the organization’s commitment, ensuring a safe environment that respects residents' dignity.
• Support care models that emphasize resident consent, autonomy, and enablement.
• Advocate for residents and their families by providing information to aid decision-making, goal setting, and community engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential nursing qualifications with registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a staff nurse in a nursing home setting is preferred.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development is necessary.
• Leadership and administrative skills to effectively fulfill role responsibilities.
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
