Job description
Role overview
We are looking for a kind, committed Registered Nurse, or someone who is nearing registration, to join our medical wards in Geriatric Medicine. This is a permanent opportunity, available on either a full-time or part-time basis, within a newly built, modern hospital environment.
The post sits within wards that support acute admissions, assessment, and treatment for people living with dementia. The role involves working a rotating shift pattern, covering both day and night duties.
Team environment
You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team made up of doctors, nurses, health care assistants, and therapists, all focused on delivering excellent patient care.
The service is built around compassion, competence, and kindness, with patients placed at the centre of every decision. The wider aim is to provide safe, high-quality services that support the health, wellbeing, and independence of people in Liverpool and surrounding communities.
Key duties
The successful nurse will take responsibility for assessing, planning, delivering, and reviewing nursing care. You will also contribute as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide care that is centred on the needs of each patient.
What the role offers
This position offers strong training opportunities and scope for professional growth within the specialty. The organisation values teamwork, innovation, and high standards in clinical care.
